"Design Pulse Asia" explores the unique heritages and cultural exchanges shaping the region's design landscape. To frame these narratives, the exhibition design eschews heavy, static walls in favour of a lightweight, modular aluminium framework that purposefully reinterprets the tectonics of traditional Asian timber construction. Translucent white finishes stretch tautly across the metallic grid, echoing how architectural surfaces were historically "weaved" between wooden structural members. This adaptable, porous environment mirrors the continuous fusion of regional craftsmanship and modern technology. By utilising minimalist tiered podiums and exposed skeletal shelving, the spatial design allows diverse objects to breathe, transforming the gallery into a dynamic, open landscape of Asian aesthetics.
